Sharepoint

To connect to a Sharepoint datasource, start by adding the Sharepoint node to the data flow. With the node selected, go to the Properties panel. Select the required Sharepoint server from the drop-down list. The list exposes the Sharepoint sources that have been configured in Pyramid by an Admin. If the required Sharepoint source doesn't appear in the list, you can add it if you are an Admin user.

Next, select the required Sharepoint database from the second drop-down list.

Next, determine whether you want to directly query the Sharepoint source, or ingest the data. Direct querying is used to enable Pyramid to directly query the data source at runtime, while data ingestion is used to copy data form the source into Pyramid in order to build a new model. To directly query the source, enable 'Direct Query Data Source', and then move on to the Data Model component.

To perform data ingestion, go to the Tables window and select the tables that you want to copy from Sharepoint and add them to the data flow.
